ZoomSphere has a new practical solution for notifications, which allows you to choose for each of your apps (all app tiles) if you want to receive notifications from them or not. 🔔
The Follow Button

There are probably apps you are not actively working with, and now you can limit the notifications from those apps and follow only the ones you need. That's why we are bringing a new Follow button you find in each of your apps! 🙂
And, of course, if you are mentioned or assigned, you will still be notified regardless of the follow/unfollow.
❗️ Set the blue Follow button to Following inside the Scheduler to be able to get push notifications on your phone (otherwise, you will most likely miss posting your scheduled posts).

By default, all users have all the apps unfollowed.
What does it mean NOT TO FOLLOW an app:
It means that you will receive notifications only if you are mentioned in a comment or a card is assigned to you
It also means that you will NOT receive a notification for cases like a comment without mentioning you.
You will not see a small red dot 🔴 on the list of workspaces or on the tile of the given app in the workspace as an indication of new content. (You can think of it as being switched off because of the unfollow).
What does it mean to FOLLOW an app:
If you follow an app, it means you will receive notifications even for comments without mentioning you specifically, as you are used to until now with all apps you have access to.
Also, the dot notification 🔴 indicating new content will appear on the app tile.
How to Follow an app:
Go to the apps you want to receive notifications for and click the Follow button located at the top right corner.
Here is a detailed overview of how the notification system works:
The Scheduler
Type of Notification | Action | Who receives it |
Dot 🔴 | Notification that a new post was created | Users who have access to the post and (at the same time) follow the app |
Bell 🔔 | New comments, mentions | Users who have access to the post (internal/public comment section) and are mentioned or follow the app |
(for our ZoomSphere mobile app) | Time to publish scheduled posts | Users who have access to the post and follow the app |
Mentions | Users who are mentioned (regardless of Follow button) |
The Workflow Manager
Type of Notification | Action | Who receives it |
Bell 🔔 | New comment Card assigned | Users who are mentioned in a comment and follow the app Users who have a card assigned and follow the app |
Dot 🔴 | A new card was created | Users who have access to the app and follow it |
Mentions, card assigned | Users who are mentioned or whose card is assigned, regardless of Follow button |
The Monitoring
Type of Notification | Action | Who receives it |
Dot 🔴 | New mention appeared | Users who have access to the app and follow it |
The Community Management

Note: The Follow button is available in apps that work with notifications, so: the Scheduler, Community Management, Monitoring, and Workflow Manager apps.
