π First, ensure your Instagram account is set as a Business account.
π The Creator & Private accounts are not supported by Instagram API for third-party tools such ZoomSphere.
π‘ Instagram account needs to be linked with a Facebook page you manage in order to be connected to ZoomSphere.
There are two ways how to do it:
Facebook Page Settings
Instagram Mobile App Settings
π Open the FB Page and choose Facebook Page Settings β Instagram on the left panel.
π Click the Connect Account button.
π Allow access to Instagram messages in Inbox and click Continue. By clicking Continue, you will get redirected to the Instagram account.
π When Instagram redirects you back to Facebook Page settings, look up if you see the Review account connection notice. If so, click the Review Connection button.
If you don't see this notice, the connection has been successful.
Now you are ready to connect your Instagram to ZoomSphere, follow this article Master Account: How to Add Facebook and Instagram Profiles and learn how to do it step by step.
The second way is to connect an Instagram account with your Facebook Page via Instagram mobile app.
π Open up the Settings in your Instagram mobile app and choose Business β Connect or Create.
π Choose to Connect an Existing Page and select the correct Facebook Page and hit the Done button.
Once you hit the Done button your Instagram account will be linked with the Facebook Page. π
Now you are ready to connect your Instagram to ZoomSphere, follow this article Master Account: How to Add Facebook and Instagram Profiles and learn how to do it step by step.
Possible Errors
Sometimes, it can happen that the Instagram connection fails and then this Review Account Connection notice pops up.
If this happens, click Review Connection and follow all the steps until the connection is fixed.
π Click Continue.
π Click Continue.
π Click Confirm Connection.
Two-factor Authentication
π If the Review Connection fails after all, then some other settings are missing β for instance, Two-factor authentication for your personal Facebook account.
If the administrator of your page requires two-factor authentication, it needs to be set up on your personal Facebook account as well, as you manage the Facebook page linked with your Instagram account. π You can read more on this topic here.
π Once you fix the settings with Two Factor authentication, go back to the Facebook Page Settings β Instagram β Review Connection and try again.
This time the connection should be successful.
