The Image Editor lets you crop, rotate, flip, zoom and filter your photos right inside the post editor. No waiting for a designer and no switching to another app: you fix the format of any image in a few seconds, so it fits the network and passes the rules for automatic publishing. đ
How to Open the Image Editor
Open a post in the Scheduler, or create a new one with the red + button.
Upload your image.
In the post preview, move your mouse over the image. A set of controls appears in its bottom right corner.
Click the Crop icon. The Image Editor opens in full screen.
Next to the Crop icon you will also find Download (saves the image to your computer), Upload (replaces the image) and Manage Images (add, remove or reorder images).
Every Network Has Its Own Copy of the Image â ď¸
When you plan one post for several networks, for example Instagram and Facebook, each network gets its own preview and its own copy of the image. This is on purpose: Instagram and Facebook display photos differently, so you can crop each copy to the format that works best there.
Open the Image Editor from the Facebook preview and you will see Facebook presets. The crop changes only the Facebook image.
Open it from the Instagram preview and you will see Instagram presets. The crop changes only the Instagram image.
đĄ The previews are stacked below each other. Scroll down in the post editor to see the preview of every selected network. If you cropped only the first preview, the other networks still use the original image.

How to Crop, Step by Step
Pick a preset, or Freeform for a custom size.
Drag the frame to choose which part of the photo stays.
Click Apply.
Click Update image in the bottom right corner. You return to the post editor and the preview shows the cropped image.
Repeat in the preview of any other network you want to crop.
Click Save to Scheduler.
â ď¸ The crop is saved together with the post. If you close the post editor without saving, ZoomSphere asks whether to discard your changes, and confirming throws away everything, including the crop.
Until you click Update image, you can step back with Undo and Redo. After that, the crop is permanent for that network's copy. To start over, upload the original photo again with Upload.
Other Tools
Filter: apply one of the ready-made filters with a single click.
Rotate: turn the image left or right, or type an exact angle.
Flip: mirror the image horizontally or vertically.
Zoom: zoom in or out to place the crop precisely.
Crop Images for Automatic Publishing
Each network has its own rules for automatic publishing. Instagram, for example, publishes automatically only images with an aspect ratio between 3:4 (portrait) and 1.91:1 (landscape). If an image falls outside the limits, the post can only be published manually through the ZoomSphere mobile app. Cropping the image with one of the presets solves it right away.
