Guide for publishing to LinkedIn: both Pages and Personal Account

Schedule posts for:

  • LinkedIn Page

  • LinkedIn Account

Post Types

Text or Link Post

  • add post text including #hashtags

  • mention other LI pages (not LI personal profiles)

  • edit the title of the link you are sharing

  • upload a different image to the preview

  • add UTM parameters

  • open the link

Image Posts

  • add post text including #hashtags

  • mention other LI pages

  • preview the image(s) in full res

Recommended image resolution: 1200 x 628 px

Max. image size: 10 MB

Video Posts

  • add post text including #hashtags

  • add video title

  • change the thumbnail of the video

  • mention other LI pages

  • play and preview the video fullscreen

Recommended image resolution: 4096 x 2304 px

Max. length: 10 mins

Aspect ratio: 1:2.4 – 2.4:1.

Max. size 500 MB.

How to schedule posts for LinkedIn

1. Select a LinkedIn page or LinkedIn personal profile, or both. πŸ˜‰

Note: To see the LinkedIn page or profile in the Scheduler, the Administrator has to add them as Data Sources to the Scheduler app first – here's how to do it.

2. Then, choose a type of post:

  • Text or link post

  • Image post

  • Video or animated GIF post

3. Drag and drop (or browse your disk) to upload photo(s) or video and follow the recommended image size.

If you used the Text or link post, just paste the link.

Image post

After you drop or choose an image, you have the option to download it or upload more images.

Multiple Image Post

Link post

After you paste a link – you have various options:

  • edit the title of the link you are sharing

  • upload a different image to the preview (thumbnail)

  • add UTM parameters

  • open the link

Video post

You can edit the title of the video and play it right while working on the post and manage the volume, and also play it fullscreen.

If you click on the three dots menu on the right bottom side, you can download the video or play "Picture in picture".
