You can connect your Instagram account to ZoomSphere in two ways:
Via Facebook โ through the Facebook Page your Instagram account is linked to.
Via Instagram โ directly with your Instagram login credentials, no Facebook Page needed.
Publishing works the same both ways. The difference is in the data Instagram shares with ZoomSphere, mainly analytics and Stories tracking.
๐ก Before you start:
Only the Administrator Account can connect channels.
Your Instagram must be switched to a professional account (Business or Creator). Instagram does not allow personal accounts to be connected to third-party tools. Learn how to switch your account ๐๐ป here.

Requirements checklist
Your Instagram account isn't on the list? Go through these 4 points.
1. Instagram is set up as a Professional account
Your Instagram account must be switched to a Professional account (Business or Creator). This is Meta's requirement for connecting accounts to third-party tools.
How to switch to a Professional account
Go to your Instagram account and click on the menu โ Account type and tools โ Switch to professional account โ Next โ select a category and click Switch to professional profile โ Done. โ
Complete guide ๐๐ผ here.
2. Instagram is linked to a Facebook Page
Your Instagram account must be connected to a Facebook Page. If you don't have one, create a private (unpublished) Page and use it just for the connection.
โ
โWhere to check: Switch to your Page and go to Manage โ Linked accounts โ Instagram.Possible Connection Failure
If you see a grey message with a blue button labeled "Review Connection," it means the connection has failed and needs to be renewed. Only a person with a Full Access role or the Page Owner can perform this action.
3. You have access to the Facebook Page and you're logged in with the right profile
The Facebook profile you log in with must manage the Page with Full Control or Create Content access.
ZoomSphere uses the Facebook profile that's currently logged in in the same browser.4. All ZoomSphere permissions are enabled in Business Integrations
On your personal Facebook profile (not the Page), open Business Integrations (Settings & Privacy โ Settings โ Business Integrations). Find ZoomSphere, click View and edit, and make sure every permission is switched on.
๐ก Two-factor authentication: Facebook sometimes requires two-factor authentication, especially for Pages with a large number of followers. If your Page requires it, turn it on for your personal Facebook profile too. Learn more
