ZoomSphere now lets you choose a TikTok Music track when scheduling posts. 🎉
💡 It is not a complete library of all music available on TikTok (TikTok does not offer that through its API), but rather a selection of currently trending tracks.
⚙️ How to Set It Up
Create a TikTok post as usual. Choose the post type, upload content, and add a copy.
Find the Music section and click Add music to post.
In the “Choose Trending Music from TikTok” window, set the Country, Genre, and Date Range filters as needed, then click a track from the results list to preview it.
Choose the track you like.
Click Save to Scheduler to confirm the music, then finish the rest of the post (Content Pillars, Tags, Date & Time of Publishing) as usual.
📹 For video, you can also:
Select a specific segment of a track – drag the highlighted window on the waveform to the point in the song where you want the music to start.
Control the volume – use the Volume sliders to balance Original (video) audio against Music.
📱 How Music Selection Works by Post Type
The feature behaves differently depending on the post type:
Image and carousel posts – the entire track is selected. In the “Choose Trending Music from TikTok” dialog, you simply click a song from the list. It plays in full, and once saved, it is attached to the post in its entire length. No trimming is needed, since an image post has no fixed length, unlike a video.
Video – a specific segment of the track is selected instead. The player shows the waveform of the whole song plus a movable window whose width matches the video’s length. You can drag it to choose where the music starts, and it plays for exactly the video’s duration. You can also balance the volume between the original video audio and the added music.
💡 Where the Tracks Come From and What Filters Are Available
Music selection can be filtered by three criteria:
Country – a full, searchable list of countries.
Genre – e.g. Rock, Pop, Latin, Metal, Electronic, Hip Hop Rap, and others.
Trending time window – past day, seven days, 30 days, or 90 days.
The result is a list of dozens of tracks that TikTok marks as trending for the chosen combination.
💡 The TikTok API only ever returns trending tracks broken down by genre for a given country. It is not possible to search for a specific song by title or artist.
👩🏻💻 Why This Is Useful
Saves time – popular, trending music for a given country/genre is visible right at the scheduling stage, with no need to search manually inside the TikTok app.
Better organic reach – TikTok’s algorithm tends to favor content that uses trending audio.
Useful for multi-country management – the country filter shows what’s popular in different markets without switching the region inside the TikTok app itself.
More creative control for video – moving the selected clip and mixing its volume with the original audio lets you decide which part of the song (e.g. the chorus) is heard.
⚠️ Limitations to Keep in Mind
Not a full catalog – only trending tracks by genre and country are surfaced, so treat it as inspiration rather than an exhaustive library.
No search by name – a specific known song cannot be looked up directly.
Manual fallback still needed – for niche or evergreen tracks outside the trending selection, adding sound manually via the TikTok app may still be necessary.
