Publishing content across multiple platforms doesn’t need to be repetitive or time-consuming. With multi-publishing in ZoomSphere’s Scheduler, you can create one post and publish it to several social media channels — all at once.

Whether you're working with Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, or TikTok, multi-publishing helps you stay consistent, save time, and manage content from one place.

💡 What Is Multi-Publishing?

Multi-publishing lets you select multiple social media profiles and publish one post across all of them simultaneously. It’s ideal for cross-platform campaigns, content batches, product launches, and recurring posts.

ZoomSphere gives you the flexibility to customize your content per platform when needed — while still managing it from a single interface.

How to Use Multi-Publishing in Scheduler

  1. Go to the Scheduler app

  2. Click Create New Post

  3. Select multiple social media channels at the top of the editor

  4. Create your post:

    • Add captions, images, and links

    • Use the “Copy from” option to duplicate and adapt text between channels quickly

  5. Choose a publish time

  6. Click Schedule Post or Publish Now

Multi-Publishing Limits by Plan

The number of channels you can publish to depends on your ZoomSphere plan:

Plan Type

Channels Per Post

Free 14-day Trial

Up to 3 channels per post

Paid Version

Up to 40 channels per post

If you're on the free trial and need to publish to more than three channels at once, consider upgrading to a paid plan.

Post Type Limitations When Multi-Publishing ⚠️

When you select multiple platforms, ZoomSphere will automatically limit the available post type based on what’s commonly supported across all selected platforms.

This means that only the formats supported by all selected platforms will be available.

Examples:

  • If you select Instagram, Facebook, Twitter (X), and LinkedIn
→ You’ll only be able to create an Image post, because that’s the shared supported type.

  • If you select YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram
→ You’ll be limited to a Short Video post, since all four platforms support short-form vertical video.

💡 Tip: For more flexibility, group platforms with similar content formats together, or create separate posts by format.

How do you recognize a multi-post?

When you create a Multi-Published post, it appears as a single post card in your Scheduler calendar. This card will display:

  • One shared thumbnail/visual used as the post miniature

  • The same publishing time across all platforms

  • All selected platform icons grouped together

  • One shared author/avatar

📌 Important to know:

  • While you can upload different visuals per platform, it’s not recommended — the Scheduler will show only one thumbnail for the entire Multi-Post, which might cause confusion if each channel actually has a different visual.

  • This unified view is designed to keep your calendar clean and visually organized.

Can I Customize Posts Per Channel?

Yes — and we encourage it! When Multi-Publishing, you can:

  • Write unique captions per platform

  • Use platform-specific hashtags, mentions, or links

  • Customize the post text for each selected channel

⚠️ Important Limitations:

  • When multi-publishing, you cannot set different publishing times per platform. The post will be published at the same time across all selected channels.

  • While you can upload different visuals per platform, we don’t recommend it. The Scheduler calendar will display only one shared visual, which may not match what’s published on each channel.

💡 Tip: If you need platform-specific visuals or timing, we recommend creating separate posts per platform or platform group.

Time-Saving Features 🕒

ZoomSphere’s Multi-Publishing includes tools to speed up your workflow:

  • “Copy from button – Duplicate content from one platform to another

  • Saved captions & hashtag templates – Reuse your best-performing setups

Why Use Multi-Publishing? 🧠

Multi-Publishing is ideal when you want to:

  • Share the same (or similar) content across platforms

  • Launch synchronized cross-platform campaigns

  • Save time and reduce content duplication

  • Manage multiple brands or clients efficiently
