ZoomSphere’s Scheduler now supports collaborations on Facebook Reels, allowing you to create engaging content with partnered pages right from your ZoomSphere account! Here’s everything you need to know about scheduling and managing Facebook Reel collaborations.👇🏼
💡 Available exclusively for Short video post type (Facebook Reel).
What is a Facebook Collaboration?
A Facebook collaboration is a feature that allows two or more pages to co-create and jointly publish content. When they collaborate on a Reel, it appears on both their pages, allowing them to reach a wider, combined audience.
How to Invite Collaborators
Create a post, select the Facebook Page you want to publish to and choose a Short video post type.
Upload your video.
Click the "Invite collaborators" button below.
Start typing the name of the Facebook Page and select the correct one.
After saving, you'll spot the collaborator's icon at the top of your post, with the number of collaborators (1) displayed on the button below.
Once all collaboration settings are ready, you can schedule the Reel as usual. Once the post is in the Approved status, collaborator invitations will be ready for the page to accept.
💡 Collaborating with Facebook Personal Profiles is not possible due to Facebook API limitations.
⚠️ Temporary Facebook Bug & Workaround
Facebook currently has a bug affecting collaboration invitations. When you invite another Facebook Page to collaborate on a post, the page receives a notification, but after clicking on it, they cannot see the post. Therefore, they cannot accept the invitation.
Luckily, there is an easy workaround to help you successfully accept the collaboration request:
If the post is in Approved status or has already been published, click COPY POST URL and send the link to the person managing the other (collaborating) Facebook page.
Using this link, they can open the post on Facebook. By clicking on the three dots menu, they will find the “Copy Invite Link” option.
They should then paste this link into a new browser tab and click the “Accept” button to approve the collaboration invitation.
This workaround ensures that collaboration requests are processed despite the current bug. We hope Facebook fixes it soon! 🚀

Number of Collaborators
Collaboration Limit: Each Facebook Reel post can have up to 10 collaborator tags.
Daily Collaboration Limit: You can invite up to 10 collaborations per page per day.
💡 Pre-Scheduled Collaboration Invitations: Collaborator invitations for your Reels can be pre-set and sent out once the post reaches the Approved status.
Key Benefits of Facebook Collaboration:
Increased Reach: Content is visible to followers of all collaborating pages, increasing its potential reach.
Enhanced Engagement: By leveraging each other’s audiences, collaborators can boost engagement.
Partnerships: It’s a powerful tool for partnerships, cross-promotion, and brand alignment, making it easier for brands to team up.
Activity Log & Post History
Every edit in collaborations is tracked in the Activity Log and Post History.
Accepting Collaboration
Please note that collaboration is not automatic. The invited page needs to accept your post invitation first in order for it to appear on their page and feed. To see if your request has been accepted, you can visit the post directly on Facebook via the "Open post URL."
Collaboration in Action
Here are a few examples of when to use Facebook collaborations:
Brand and Influencer Partnerships: Brands can team up with influencers to co-create content and share it across both profiles, boosting visibility and reach.
Co-Hosting Events: Two businesses can collaborate on virtual or in-person events by sharing joint promotional content through the Facebook Collabs feature.
Product Collaborations: Designers or brands launching joint product lines can post a single announcement, making it visible to both audiences.
Nonprofit Partnerships: Charities can collaborate with celebrities or businesses to raise awareness for a cause, with both profiles sharing the message.
Cross-Promotion for Contests or Giveaways: Co-sponsors of a giveaway can use collaborations to promote the contest on multiple accounts, maximizing exposure and engagement.
That’s it! You’re ready to create and schedule your Facebook Reels with collaborators in ZoomSphere. Get creative and engage your audience with powerful partnerships on Facebook!
