When creating a new app or editing an existing one, you will come across the Data Source tab. In this section of the app setting, you can connect the social media profiles and pages that you want to manage.

Generally, there are two options πŸ‘‡

Connected Profiles

Connected Profiles are social media accounts connected to your ZoomSphere account in general settings. To be able to link them, you need to be their admin or editor.

We can get full access to these accounts, which means we can retrieve Insight metrics (including historical data), and publish.

To add a new one, go to General Settings - Social profiles & Apps.

External Profiles

Data from external profiles are limited to public metrics only. We are not able to publish to them or retrieve private comments (direct messages). They are great for competitor analysis in the Social Media Benchmarking Tool.

To connect external profile, go to Facebook/Instagram, look up the account, copy the URL, paste it to ZoomSphere, and hit the Load button. The profile will appear on the list.
