Meta has announced that the Impressions and Page Fans metrics has been fully deprecated on November 15, 2025. The new replacement metric Views is officially available!

What’s Changing?

In Analytics:

Page Fans Removed

Facebook has officially removed the Page Fans metric.
The entire Page Fans tab has been deprecated, the new Facebook Pages support only Page Followers.

  • Page Followers now include country and city breakdowns.

Page Reach and Impressions → Page reach and Views

The Page Impressions metric is now deprecated (similar to the recent Instagram change).
It has been replaced with Page Views.

Important notes:

  • Only total Views are currently available.

  • Paid vs. organic breakdowns are not supported at this time.

Post Impressions → Views

Post Impressions are also being replaced by Views, with only a single total number available.

💡Please note: Existing reports using deprecated metric will no longer function.

In the Scheduler App:

The Post Performance tab has been updated, replacing Impressions with Views to reflect Meta’s latest data changes for all post types.

This update ensures ZoomSphere stays aligned with Meta’s reporting structure and avoids confusion caused by the differences between Impressions and Views.
