If you're publishing content on Facebook that includes age-restricted topics (like alcohol, tobacco, or gambling), there's a new setting in ZoomSphere that can help protect your posts from being hidden or blocked.
This article explains what prescheduling means, when to disable it, and how to do it in just a few clicks.
What Is Prescheduling?
Prescheduling allows ZoomSphere to send your post to Facebook in advance, before the actual publishing time. This gives you a Post ID early and helps with post tracking.
However, it also means that Meta may scan and review your content before it’s published — even if the post is organic (not an ad).
When Prescheduling May Cause Issues 🚫
For Facebook Pages that publish age-restricted content such as:
🍺 Alcohol
🚬 Tobacco or smoking-related content
🎲 Gambling or betting
💊 Regulated or sensitive topics
…Meta’s automatic content review system can mistake your content for advertising and hide or block the post — especially videos and images.
This typically happens before publishing, during Meta’s pre-check process triggered by prescheduling.
What Happens When You Disable Prescheduling
When prescheduling is disabled:
Your post is sent to Facebook only at the moment of publishing
Meta's automated content review is skipped
Your content is less likely to be flagged or blocked
Post IDs will not be available in advance
This helps ensure that your posts go live as expected — especially for Facebook Pages with age-restricted themes.
How to Disable or Re-enable Prescheduling 🛠️
You can manage this setting from the main Administrator account in Social Media Channels Settings.
To Disable Prescheduling:
Go to Settings → Social Media Channels
Find your connected Facebook Page
Click the three dots (⋯) next to the page
Select “Disable Prescheduling”
A tooltip will confirm the setting is now OFF
👉 From now on, your content will be sent to Facebook at publishing time — not before.
To Enable Prescheduling Again ✅
Go to the same Social Media Channels section
Click the three dots next to your Facebook Page
Choose “Enable Prescheduling”
Future posts will again be sent in advance and will generate Post IDs before publishing
Prescheduling and Post Tracking
When prescheduling is enabled:
You’ll receive Post IDs in advance (when your Facebook post is scheduled, i.e. has assigned Approved status, or any custom status with Publish function enabled).
You can preview the scheduled post on Facebook by clicking the Open Post URL button.
When it’s disabled:
You will get the Post ID only when the post is published - not before.
Your post still goes live normally, but without the pre-check process.
You can still preview the post on Facebook but only once it is published.
