ZoomSphere is listed in the official ChatGPT plugin directory, so nobody in your team has to create it by hand any more. In a ChatGPT Business, Enterprise or Edu workspace the admin decides which directory plugins members may use. This article has two parts: what the admin does, and what each member does afterwards.
Part 1: For admins and owners
Step 1: Allow ZoomSphere for the workspace
Open Workspace settings and go to the section that manages apps and plugins. Find ZoomSphere among the directory plugins and enable it for the workspace. On Enterprise and Edu you can limit it to selected groups with role-based access. If your workspace already allows all directory plugins, there is nothing to do here.
Step 2: Remove the old developer-mode version
Did you create and publish ZoomSphere yourself in developer mode during early access? Once the directory version is enabled, unpublish and delete the old one, so members do not see ZoomSphere twice. Your team's ZoomSphere data is not affected; members only connect again with the directory version.
Step 3: Tell your team
Enabling the plugin does not sign anyone in. Each member connects with their own ZoomSphere login (Part 2). You can send them something like this:
"ZoomSphere is now available in ChatGPT. Click Plugins in the sidebar, search for ZoomSphere, click Install plugin and sign in with your own ZoomSphere account. Set Permissions to Allow read actions. Guide: help.zoomsphere.com/en/articles/16929796"
Part 2: For members
If you cannot find or install ZoomSphere, your admin has not enabled it yet: send them this article.
Step 1: Find ZoomSphere in the directory
Click Plugins in the ChatGPT sidebar and search for ZoomSphere, or open the ZoomSphere plugin page.
Step 2: Install and allow access
Click Install plugin, then Sign in with ZoomSphere, then Allow Access on the ZoomSphere page. Details are in the personal guide, Step 3.
Step 3: Set your permission level and use it
On the plugin page set Permissions to Allow read actions (personal guide, Step 4). Then attach ZoomSphere in a chat with the Plugins chip or type @ZoomSphere (personal guide, Step 5).
Good to know | Detail |
No address to type | The directory version needs no server address and no developer mode. |
Your own ZoomSphere login | ChatGPT acts as you, with exactly the workspaces and channels your ZoomSphere account has. |
Disconnect any time | You can disconnect yourself from the plugin page. Which plugins the workspace allows is the admin's decision. |
