Limitations of LinkedIn Polls
While LinkedIn Polls are great for engagement, there are a few limitations to keep in mind:
⚠️ Only up to 4 answer options – You can’t add more than four choices.
⚠️ Limited poll duration – You can set the poll to run for 1 day, 3 days, 1 week, or 2 weeks—no custom durations.
⚠️ No editing after publishing – Once a poll is live, you cannot edit the question or answer choices. If needed, you’ll have to delete and create a new poll.
⚠️ Poll results visibility – While you can see total votes, you won’t get detailed analytics about individual voters beyond the total engagement.
