What is a linked account?
Every LinkedIn Page connected to ZoomSphere is linked via a LinkedIn Personal Profile. Thanks to the LinkedIn profile's page access and permissions (Super Admin Page role), ZoomSphere can access and exchange data with LinkedIn, for instance, to publish content.
💡 Please note: To link a LinkedIn Page to a different LinkedIn account, the new account must first have a Super Admin role for the LinkedIn Page due to the official LinkedIn limitations that apply to all third-party tools.
Where do I find the linked account?
Information about the linked account is in the Administrator Settings > Social Media Channels, next to each connected LinkedIn Page. 👇
The LinkedIn Account is already connected to ZoomSphere
1. Access Settings ⚙️
Navigate to Administrator Settings > Social Media Channels. Find the LinkedIn page you want to change the linked account on.
2. Change the linked account 🔀
To change the LinkedIn Profile connecting the LinkedIn Page to ZoomSphere, click on the three dots next to the desired Page, and click Change Linked Account. Then choose the new LinkedIn Profile from the selection box.
💡 If you can't see the Change linked account option, it means only one LinkedIn Profile is connected, and you need to connect another one first. Please check the below.
3. Done! 🎉
If it's successful, you will see the new LinkedIn account listed next to the LinkedIn Page. If not, then it means the new LinkedIn Account does not have the required Super Admin role, and you must obtain it first. 💡
The LinkedIn Account is not yet connected to ZoomSphere
First, connect the new LinkedIn account to ZoomSphere, then change the linked account. 👀
1. Log in to the LinkedIn Profile
Ensure you are logged in to the LinkedIn account you want to connect in the same browser as you have ZoomSphere.
2. Connect the Profile to ZoomSphere
Navigate to Administrator Settings > Social media channels.
Then, you have two options to connect your LinkedIn Personal Profile.
You can use the +Add channel button > LinkedIn and connect your channel the same way as other channels.
Or you can refresh the Page. Find the LinkedIn page you want to change the linked account on. Click the three dots at the end of the row and select Refresh connection.
You will be redirected to LinkedIn, where you must permit access to ZoomSphere.
3. Change the linked account 🔀
After refreshing, click the three dots again and select Change Linked Account. Then select the newly connected LinkedIn Profile from the selection box.
4. You're all done! 🎉
If it's successful, you will see the new LinkedIn Profile listed next to the LinkedIn Page. If not, then it means the new LinkedIn Profile does not have the required Super Admin role, and you must obtain it first. 💡
