Twitter New API Update

As you may have already heard, Twitter has a new API that brings many changes affecting some of the ZoomSphere Apps and is applying its new limitations to all third-party tools. 🚩

Twitter Refresh

All internally connected Twitter accounts must be refreshed in the Master account Settings / Social Profiles / Twitter as the connection is lost due to the transition to the new API.

→ If you experience issues with your Twitter account, please contact your Master account to get it fixed.

What changes for the Apps?

  • Since it is no longer possible to receive any Twitter insight or public data, Twitter is no longer supported in the Analytics, Benchmarking, and Monitoring apps. ⚠️

  • Receiving Twitter comments & mentions in the Community Management app is no longer possible. ⚠️

  • Scheduling to Twitter in the Scheduler app has been reduced to only one Twitter account per post and two published posts within 10 minute floating window. ⚠️

And what doesn't change?

  • Twitter Direct messages (DMs) in the Community Management are still accessible. ✅
