Has your Facebook Page switched into the new mode, and now you cannot connect it to ZoomSphere or publish any content? Do not worry; you will find everything you need to know in this article. π
What is the new Page experience?
The new Page experience is a way for public figures, businesses, and others who want to build and connect with an audience to manage their professional presence on Facebook.
When you switch to the new Page experience, all Page content, including posts, photos, videos, stories, and groups that your Page is an admin of, will automatically move to your new Page. It will also transition all of your Page followers to your new Page. If your Page has a blue verification tick, it will transfer to your new Page.
New Page Roles and ZoomSphere
The new Page has a bit different setting layout. If you have had the page role Admin or Editor, in the classic Page, you will be able to switch to your Page. π
More minor roles such as Moderator or Advertiser will not be able to switch into the Page but will only have task access to the Page.
π‘ You need to have Facebook access full control, to connect the new Page and its Instagram to ZoomSphere and publish or manage content. π‘
Facebook access full control
You can give or remove access for others from the Page, delete the Page, connect Page and its Instagram to third-party tools (ZoomSphere), and access insights.
Features you can manage with full control access:
Content: Create, manage or delete any content on the Page, such as posts, stories, and more.
Messages: Respond to direct messages as the Page in Inbox.
Comments: Respond to comments on the Page, and edit or delete existing comments made by the Page.
Linked accounts: Add, manage or remove linked accounts, such as Instagram.
Ads: Create, manage and delete ads.
Insights: Use Page, post, and ad insights to analyze the Page's performance.
Events: Create, edit and delete events by the Page.
Removal & bans: Remove or ban people from the Page.
Can I switch the new Page back to classic?
Yes, you can. However, all the new content published during the new Page will be lost. π
Learn more about switching back here.
Connecting new Page to ZoomSphere
First, ensure you have Facebook access. Open Facebook and switch to the Page.
Then click Manage β Page access β People with Facebook access.
π If you cannot switch to your Page, you do not have Facebook access but only "task access." You will still be able to connect the Page to ZoomSphere, but unable to connect the Instagram account linked to your Page or publish any content due to Facebook limitations.π‘
Facebook access: adding new people
